| Inspiring Capital – Risktec ventures into “Auld Reekie” |
As part of the continued expansion of the Risktec business, we are delighted to announce the opening of our new Risktec office in Edinburgh, the Capital City of Scotland. Based in the prestigious location of Edinburgh Park, on the West side of the city, Risktec is well placed to provide local support to our new and existing clients in the East of Scotland, as well as supporting the overall Risktec business. Led by Grant Reekie, the new office location has already generated much interest from several major organisations that require a high quality safety, engineering and risk management service in the Edinburgh area. Edinburgh gained the name “Auld Reekie” (meaning “Old Smokey” in Scots) due to the large amount of coal and wood that was burned to keep the cold at bay. However when Festival fever hits the city each August, the largest arts festival in the world attracts visitors from all over the globe who are more than happy to brave the climate! With exceptional transport links, a large pool of high quality resource and being located close to major clients, the new Edinburgh office is well placed to continue the expansion of Risktec.
