Safety Engineers and Risk Management consultants – Process, Oil and Gas

Risktec Solutions Ltd. is an independent and specialist risk management consulting and training company, wholly owned by its employees. We assist clients in major hazard industries to manage safety and business risk.
We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic and influential individuals with a strong background in the process, oil and gas and petrochemical industries to join one of our teams in our Warrington, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices.
You will have a good understanding of the technical, engineering and managerial issues fundamental to safety and risk management within these industries. In addition, you will have an interest in business development and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Training can be provided for less experienced candidates.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical safety support and advice to clients
- Preparing and managing qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including HAZOP, HAZID, fault tree and event tree analysis, consequence and physical effects modelling
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, methods, data and use of appropriate software
- Producing formal technical reports, HSE Cases and other project deliverables on time and to budget
- Managing and developing clients
- Developing new business
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of degree in science, engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Technical safety and / or risk assessment experience
