SkillsXP is a competence information tool for managing skills, work experience, qualifications and training.

Collaborating with Tritanium, Risktec has this year introduced the SkillsXP software product into the UK.  SkillsXP has been updated to meet the needs of organisations operating nuclear licensed sites, specifically the requirement to demonstrate that the organisation is competent to operate and that organisational changes are managed.

Nae Danger! Risktec ventures North (Feb 2005)

Business Continuity – Manchester service tunnel fire (April 2004)

The fire in a BT service tunnel in Manchester on 29 March 2004 destroyed telecommunications cables and caused widespread regional disruption to telephone and internet services.  At Risktec we implemented our contingency plan to minimise the effect on our business.

At The Core of Nuclear Safety (Oct 2003)

During its operational lifetime, the graphite core of an advanced gas-cooled reactor (AGR) is subject to a number of ageing mechanisms and must be regularly monitored to ensure continuity.  The core’s geometry must be within acceptable limits, its structural integrity must be preserved and the optimum reactor performance must be maintained.
